Free, takes about 15 seconds, no account. You get HTML you can paste anywhere.

What happens

  1. We scan the page

A real browser loads the site and sees which services run.

  2. We match them to known cookies

Each service gets its cookies with name, purpose, category and how long they last.

  3. You copy the HTML

Paste it into your privacy policy. If you change services later, run the generator again.

Cookie policy questions

What a cookie policy has to contain, how it differs from a privacy policy, and how to keep it true.

What does a cookie policy generator do?

It loads your website the way a new visitor's browser does, finds the trackers and cookies it sets, and writes the cookie declaration for you: a table with every cookie, who sets it, what it is for and how long it lasts. You copy the HTML and paste it into your cookie or privacy policy page.

What does a cookie policy have to contain under GDPR?

Which cookies the site sets, who sets them (you or a third party), what each one is for, how long it lasts, and how a visitor can change or withdraw their consent. It has to match what the site actually loads, so a template copied from another site is rarely enough.

Is a cookie policy the same as a privacy policy?

No. A privacy policy covers all the personal data you process, from contact forms to invoices. A cookie policy covers cookies and similar technologies on the website. The cookie declaration can sit in its own page or as a section of your privacy policy, as long as visitors can find it from the consent banner.

Why did the generator find nothing on my site?

Either the site genuinely sets no non-essential cookies, or a consent banner is holding the trackers back until a visitor agrees. The generator never clicks accept, so trackers behind a working banner do not run during the visit. The result tells you which of the two it is.

How do I keep my cookie policy up to date?

Run the generator again whenever you add or remove a tool, such as a new analytics service, chat widget or ad pixel. A declaration you pasted once stops being true the first time someone adds a script. Consentify customers can embed a declaration that updates itself from the integrations they have configured.

Is the cookie policy generator free?

Yes. There is no account and no email address required. Enter your domain and you get the declaration back.
