Introduction

By using Consentify, you confirm your acceptance of, and agree to be bound by, these terms and conditions.

1. Agreement to Terms and Conditions

By using Consentify, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. This agreement takes effect on the date on which you first use the Consentify application.

2. What Consentify Does

Consentify provides tools to:

• Create and customize cookie consent banners
• Manage cookie integrations (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.)
• Store user consent choices
• Help implement GDPR best practices for cookie consent

Consentify provides pre-filled cookie declarations for supported integrations based on third-party documentation. These are provided for convenience only. Since third parties may change their cookie practices without notice, Consentify does not guarantee that these declarations are always exhaustive or up-to-date. The User is the Data Controller and is solely responsible for verifying that the declaration accurately reflects their actual use of cookies.

3. Refunds and Pricing

By subscribing, you explicitly waive your right of withdrawal once the digital service has been provided.

If a payment fails or an account is not paid for, the subscription will automatically be downgraded to the Free plan.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your password secure
• All activity on your account
• Your own GDPR and privacy law compliance
• Writing your own privacy policy
• Properly categorizing your cookies

You must be 18+ to use this service.

5. What You Can't Do

Don't:

• Use the service for anything illegal
• Try to hack or break the service
• Share your account credentials
• Abuse the service (spam, excessive requests, etc.)
• Resell the service without permission

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Data and Privacy

You own your data. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle data.

For data we process on your behalf (your end-users' consent choices), see the Data Processing Agreement.

You can export and delete your data anytime via the dashboard.

7. Service Availability

We don't guarantee:

• The service will always be available without interruption
• All bugs will be fixed immediately
• 24/7 customer support
• Specific response times (though we try our best!)
• If your website exceeds the monthly pageview limit of your plan, the Service may be temporarily disabled until the next period or until an upgrade is performed. Consentify is not liable for any non-compliance issues arising from the service being disabled due to exceeded limits.

9. Liability Limitations

While the Service is designed to assist with compliance,Consentify is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Use of the Service does not guarantee compliance with GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive (Ekomloven), or any other regulations.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Termination

You can cancel anytime by deleting your account in the dashboard. No questions asked.

We can terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or don't pay your bill.

After termination, We'll delete your data within 30 days (except what we're legally required to keep for accounting).

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. We'll notify you via email at least 30 days before significant changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes will be handled in Norwegian courts.
